iWeb celebrates national autism awareness day

World Autism Awareness Day takes place on Wednesday 2nd April 2014. The day was unanimously declared as World Autism Awareness Day by the United Nations General Assembly in 2008 to highlight the need to improve the lives of children and adults who suffer from autism. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that manifests itself during the first three years of life and results from a neurological disorder that affects the functioning of the brain.

Project FIRST’s annual review -update

Annual review meeting conducted by representatives from the European Commission was done at the end of year 1 to measure progress made by the consortium on project FIRST. It was reported that the project is progressing well whilst having met agreed targets.
