Staffordshire University

Staffordshire University – a leading university in the west midlands are the proud hosts of the upcoming 2015 universities power engineering conference.

The conference provides engineers and academia from national and international universities a great platform to explore recent developments, current practices and future trends in Power Engineering. Because the 2015 conference is the 50th Anniversary and a special occasion Staffordshire University have instructed iWeb’s digital team to put together a brand spanking new website to mark the occasion. Our design & development team worked closely with staffordshire university every step of the way in putting together mock-ups, wireframes resulting in the implementation of a web site that celebrates the special occasion.

European Commission funded FIRST Project

We are lead technical coordinators on a 3-year European commission funded project that aims to create a web based application called Open Book aiming at people with Autism Syndrome. The project’s objective is to create an intelligent tool that will simplify documents helping ASD patients in improved reading comprehension. The project consists of leading academic universities and healthcare institutions in UK, Spain and Bulgaria

Voluntas Housing

sector: Social Housing

iWeb Technologies worked with Voluntas Housing to deliver a interactive charting widget that could be used by Voluntas’s partners and customers which are mainly housing associations to showcase survey results in a rich graphical format. The widget can be embedded on web sites integrated to Voluntas’s award winning surveying platform-Rated by Residents. The main objective is to share responses/ feedback received from housing association stakeholders such as social tenants via surveys transparently and in real-time.

Cardioversion: ‘Jump Start’ a software solution

sector: Healthcare

iWeb Technologies was commissioned by a leading West Midlands NHS Trust to develop/ enhance a software solution that automatically highlighted patients that would be eligible for elective direct current cardioversion procedure based on the International Normalized Ratio (INR) blood results entered into the system. In the views of the users, the solution has succeeded in streamlining the potentially challenging aspect of elective direct current cardioversion anti-thrombotic prophylaxis.
